전 세계 100여 개 국가에서 활동하고 있는 세계최대규모 자연보전기관 WWF(세계자연기금) 한국본부에서 자연과 인류가 조화롭게 공존하는 지속 가능한 미래를 만들기 위한 Marketing & Fundraising Director 를 채용합니다. 


WWF-Korea Marketing & Fundraising Director는 다양한 이해관계자 중 특히 대중들을 대상으로 인류가 직면한 기후위기와 생물다양성 손실에 대한 인식제고 및 행동 변화를 이끌어내고, WWF의 자연보전 활동에 필요한 기부금을 모으는 업무를 리드하는 역할입니다. 이를 위해 마케팅과 펀드레이징 전략을 수립하고 후원회원 관리 프로그램 개발 등을 통해 기관의 펀드레이징 목표를 달성하도록 합니다.


 

Major Functions/Objectives of the Position


The Marketing & Fundraising Director (“M&F Director”) plays a pivotal role in creating a strong brand presence, enhancing visibility, and effectively communicating its mission and initiatives to various stakeholders and leading the organization’s efforts to drive financial growth for the organization by developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies. 

For effective collaboration across teams, M&F Director supervises WWF-Korea’s marketing communication team and fundraising team. The M&F Director motivates, develops, and empowers a team of dynamic professionals to help implement the marketing and communications and fundraising strategy and achieve results. This role requires a strategic thinking, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of donor engagement and revenue generation.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities 


1. Organization Development and Planning


Marketing & Communications:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy aligning with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage effective nationwide campaigns leveraging media and public relations.
  • Develop creative strategies with new and existing communications tools.
  • Provide direction for marketing and communication material production such as press release, publication, and SNS contents

Fundraising:

  • Develop and implement a multi-faceted fundraising strategy.
  • Develop high-impact and innovative donor acquisition campaigns and recruitment drives to drive growth and explore sustainable sources of funding.
  • Explore and execute diverse fundraising channels and streams for new donor acquisition including but not limited to major donors, legacy, etc.
  • Responsible for managing donor retention and maximizing donor retention rates as much as possible.
  • Manage relationships with individual donors, including a donor retention programme to maintain donor loyalty and conversion.
  • Provide oversight for the donor acquisition part and donor care & retention part all together.

 

2. Budgeting and Resource Management

  • Lead, manage, and build capacity within the division.
  • Develop and manage marketing & communication and fundraising budgets.
  • Monitor fundraising progress and evaluate new opportunities.


3. Performance, people management and Collaboration

  • Ensure effective collaboration across teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the division towards the goal.
  • Develop external relationships with partners and potential partners including media, government, academics and corporations to seek support.


4. Compliance and Ethics:

  • Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in fundraising activities.


5. Undertake additional responsibilities as requested.

 

This job description covers the main tasks and conveys the spirit of the sort of tasks that are anticipated proactively from staff. Other tasks may be assigned as necessary according to organizational needs.


Qualifications & Experience 

Required:

Knowledge and Skills

  1. Fluency in English.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Media/Communication or Marketing related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  3. Minimum 15 years of work experience, with a proven track record of leadership and impact.
  4. Deep understanding of sustainability goals and conservation principles.
  5. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  6. Exceptional diplomatic and communication skills.
  7. Proven track record in fundraising, marketing, communications or sales roles.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and interdisciplinary team environment, with a commitment to WWF's values of Courage, Integrity, Respect & Collaboration


Working Relationships


Internal:

Reports to Executive Director and collaborates with senior management team and team leaders

Liaises with WWF Global Practices and other offices in the Network.

External:

Engages with conservation bodies, stakeholders, and supporters to advance WWF-Korea goals.

1년 계약직 (3개월 수습기간 포함)

모든 포지션은 계약직으로 시작하며, 평가에 따라 계약 연장 및 무기계약직(정규직) 전환 가능
